Tindora is a tropical vine. It grows in tropical climate and commonly grows throughout the country, it is an outdoor plant grown for its fresh fruit as vegetables. Fruits are ovoid to ellipsoidal in shape with 6- 9 cms in length. Tindora leaves, stem and roots are used in Ayurvedic medicines. It is mainly used as vegetable.
